Privacy policy

What we collect

• Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email address, the date and which page you signed up from are stored by our email provider, Mailchimp (Intuit), which sends a confirmation email first. We only use it to send the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Due date or baby's birthday (optional): if you add it when subscribing, we store it in Mailchimp with your email (the exact date, or the 1st of the month if you only pick a month), plus whether you're expecting or your baby is here. We only use it to time the gear tips in our emails. We never share or sell it. To remove it, write to us or unsubscribe.
• Plan my baby gear (/plan): the date you enter there stays in your own browser (localStorage) so your plan is there next time. It isn't sent to us. The "Clear" link on that page removes it.
• No accounts, no ad trackers. This site sets no cookies of its own (the /plan page keeps your date in your browser's local storage only).
• Server logs: our host may keep standard request logs (IP address, browser) for security.

Affiliate links

When you click through to a retailer, that retailer (and its affiliate network) may set cookies to attribute a purchase to us. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
